Felaryan Dual Land: Akaptor Desert

The first of five "Dual Lands" scheduled for completion in this Felarya Set. Each Dual Land corresponds to a major topographical feature of the World of Felarya.

Almost every Dual Land since the original Dual Lands that Magic: The Gathering created has come with some sort of drawback intended to make that land slightly more difficult to draw mana from. These drawbacks come in five categories based on precedence:

1. Pain Lands - Lands that deal 1 damage to you when tapped for either color.

2. Tap Lands - Lands that enter the battlefield tapped automatically or under certain conditons.

3. Shock Lands - Lands that enter the battlefield tapped unless you pay 2 life.

4. Bounce Lands - Lands that bounce another land back to your hand when they enter the battlefield.

5. Filter Lands - Lands that produce two mana to your mana pool for a payment of one.

EDIT: After further consideration I have decided that Akaptor Desert had a bit too much of a drawback for my tastes. So I eliminated much of what was holding it back and decided to turn it into more or less a Shock Land, although a little different. Now, when it comes into play, it simply deals 2 damage to you, but on the bright side it comes into play untapped so you may use it right away. Also no sacrifices are necessary anymore. This should make it a bit more palatable now.

Felarya belongs to
